On behalf of the Ladysmith Show ‘n Shine committee and the hundreds of guests that will be bringing their classic/vintage/collector vehicles to our historic downtown, home of Canada’s Best Main Street on Saturday, August 19th, 2023, we are inviting you to come and see this great family-friendly community event.
Music lineup to come for 2023. The Show ‘n Shine entertainment is designed for folks to have a good time and get out on the street and dance…. so kick up your heels.

From 10 am to 3 pm, Ladysmith’s famous downtown turns into not just a classic car dreamers heaven but a great stroll along our tree-lined casual main street featuring many businesses, restaurants, and shops that will be catering to locals and visitors alike.
Members of the Ladysmith Lions Club were on hand with their concession trailer cooking up hamburgers and hot dogs along with cold drinks for the crowd.

On the third Saturday in August, First Avenue in downtown Ladysmith on Vancouver Island is lined with various makes and models of beautiful and treasured cars and motorcycles.

Ladysmith Lions Club Concession
The Ladysmith Lions have their food trailer at the Show ‘n Shine. Located next to the main stage, on High Street, the Lions will be serving their famous breakfast sandwich.
They will have their regular fare of hot dogs, hamburgers, drinks and other goodies.
Kinsmen Beer Garden
The local Kinsmen Club host a beer garden, located in the parking lot of Dunsmuir Square (Kitchener and First Avenues). Along with a cold beer or two, at the Kinsmen Beer Garden, the members will also be BBQ-ing up their famous ribs, done with their secret sauce as well as all the condiments. This is a “must stop” for participants and spectators.
The Kinsmen quench the thirst and appetites of everyone as they tour the hundreds of impressive vehicles that will be featured along First Avenue.
