Members of the Ladysmith Show ’n’ Shine committee made a very welcoming presention to Vancouver Island University last week.

The posters for the past two Ladysmith Show ’n’ Shines have been designed by local artists.

This past summer’s annual Ladysmith Show ’n’ Shine was again a huge success. The volunteer committee decided that the success should be shared with the community.

The Ladysmith Show ‘n Shine Society presented the Ladysmith Chemainus Orcas Swim Club with a cheque for $1,000.

The endowment was created in honour of Sam Bailey, a qualified heavy duty mechanic, automotive mechanic, and welder who taught heavy duty mechanics at VIU for many years.
